WHO於2002年提出「活躍老化」概念，並鼓勵高齡者透過社會參與及自主活動提升活躍老化程度。相關研究指出，交通環境是影響高齡者活動參與頻率的重要因素。本文以高齡者「活動行為」為核心，連結「個人特性」、「城鄉空間」、「交通環境滿意度」與「活躍老化」，並透過電訪問卷與統計分析，探討不同社會經濟條件、交通環境滿意度、城鄉空間、活動特性等變數對於活躍老化之影響。根據分析結果，本研究有以下4點重要發現：1.「活動運動」是高齡者最主要的活動行為，其次是「購物採買」、「就醫行為」及「探親訪友」，「社會參與」目前並非多數高齡者的日常活動。2. 活動行為中除「探親訪友」呈現不顯著、「就醫行為」呈現負面影響外，其餘皆對活躍老化有顯著正面影響。3.活動行為中除「工作賺錢」、「社會參與」與「就醫行為」外，其餘都市化地區高齡者活動之比率顯著大於非都市化地區，未來可思考提高都市化地區高齡者「工作賺錢」與非都市化地區「活動運動」兩者機會可及性，將有助於提高活躍老化。4. 國內高齡者仍缺乏友善步行環境，提升步行環境不僅可增加高齡者活動參與率，間接也可提升活躍老化程度。

近年來農地違章工廠為民間團體不斷呼籲政府重視之議題，依據稅籍資料臺灣農地違章工廠數量自2001年以來，從6萬多家持續增長至13萬多家。事實上農地違章工廠始於1960年代，廠商為了節省土地以及人力成本，工廠進駐廣大的農地，加上客廳即工廠之政策帶動下，造成違章工廠四處林立、農地管理失靈。根據行政院農業委員會農地資源盤點結果，全臺已有13.5萬筆農地遭到違法工業使用，面積將近1.7萬公頃，農地違章工廠最大的影響乃是鄰近農地受到污染，進而產生糧食安全問題，潛在危害民眾健康，儘管政府已有提出相關配套措施，但工廠管理輔導法偏向讓工廠就地合法，國土計畫法則期藉由整體土地資源利用角度引導違章工廠適切地在地合法/異地媒合。為了解違章工廠空間聚集/集散關係，並且研析違章工廠形成之因子，欲配合國土計畫，利用空間特性探討違章工廠之區位適宜性以進行就地合法或異地媒合，故本研究主要採用地理資訊系統中的空間自相關(Spatial Autocorrelation)以及最小平方法(Ordinary least square)針對臺中市進行分析，結果發現違章工廠存在空間聚集特性且違章工廠與鄰近里間存在空間自相關性，此現象表示違章工廠設廠受到鄰近地區之影響。本研究希冀在未來政府擬訂違章工廠相關政策時，能更貼近輔導產業之需求，給予政府在違章工廠議題上政策研擬之參考。

本研究以創新投入及人才演化之觀點，解析台灣工具機產業如何透過在地生產網絡形塑有利於創新的氛圍。為了描繪人才於創新過程中扮演的重要角色，本研究一方面將人力資源管理新增至本研究調查產業創新投入演化的問卷當中，另方面亦透過敘述性統計分析，解析我國工具機產業的人才演化情形。又考量至工具機產業於中部區域形成綿密的外包網絡，得以享有非符碼化快速流動之優勢，本研究運用深度訪談法，解析其如何運用在地生產網絡型塑創新氛圍。本研究發現，隨著工具機產業的發展，其對於研發、技術與人力資源管理層面的創新投入，皆呈現增加趨勢，尤其是在近年來格外著重於研發的層面。而整個產業的人力資源水平，也隨創新投入的轉變有所提升，且人才在其中扮演知識接收者與傳遞者的關鍵要角。我國工具機產業內中心廠與協力廠的互動，是其能形成創新氛圍的關鍵，近年來，協力廠更是逐漸由起初的輔助者，轉變成能夠率先轉變創新投入的主要角色。國際趨勢的轉變與市場隱憂、外在衝擊，與政府政策及公共研發機構，是促使工具機產業創新投入轉變的影響因素。
